I am a frequent patron of the Parks Art Deco Cafe in Stanley Park - excellent food and service and friendly and interested-looking staff. Bravo.
My visit is often marred, however, by the antics of other drivers on the main entrance approach.

Hide AdCars are permitted to park on the lefthand side of the road (as one approaches the cafe), with designated passing spaces clearly identifiable by double-yellow lines. Yet some folk deem it appropriate to park up in these areas, thus preventing traffic from pulling in to give way to drivers wishing to exit the park.
Still more infuriating are those who have the opportunity to pull into the passing spaces, yet instead choose to drive steadfastly at oncoming traffic. Cue an unnecessary and uncomfortable standoff, with glaring aplenty.
Is there any scope for a sign to be situated on one of the pillars at the front gate (pictured) reminding drivers who enter the park via this route to give way to oncoming traffic? It should be obvious, but inexplicably to some (bless them) it appears not to be.

Royal wedding event success
How nice it was to see so many residents attending the 60+ centre in Poulton for the recent Royal wedding.
