Crewe boss expecting stern pre-season test against Blackpool
While the fixture has yet to be officially confirmed, it is expected Crewe will host the Seasiders ahead of next season's new campaign.
The clash will see Kelvin Mellor, Max Clayton and Ollie Turton return to their former clubs, as will Pool's assistant manager Terry McPhillips.

Hide Ad“We have got a home game against Blackpool to look forward to," Artell said.
"There will be some old faces coming back with Kelvin, Ollie and Max there. Terry McPhillips is the assistant manager there as well.
“One thing for sure, it will be a good test for us. They are a league higher and have some very good players.
"They enjoyed a good season and with a bit of luck they could have made the play-offs again."

Hide AdPool's only pre-season friendly to be confirmed to date is the short trip to AFC Fylde, in what will be Blackpool's first ever visit to Mill Farm.
The fixture will take place on Tuesday, July 24 - kick off 7.30pm.
