Here's how the players that played the opening 65 minutes rated...
1. Chris Maxwell - 8/10
Made a string of excellent stops. Distributed well and always quick off his line to deal with balls over the top.
2. Mitch Clark (trialist) - 7/10
Little nervy early on up against Dwight McNeil, but improved as the game wore on. Produced two excellent last-ditch blocks.
3. Richard Keogh - 7/10
Solid up against the tricky youngster Lewis Richardson. Headed everything that came his way and showed good positional play.
4. James Husband - 7/10
Very assured, despite being forced into a couple of early mistakes. Recovered well to deal with threatening runs in behind.
5. Luke Garbutt - 7/10
Solid defensively, but a little stifled going the other way due to Burnley’s pressure. Always neat and tidy though.
6. Callum Connolly - 6/10
Didn’t really get in the game playing further forward in midfield. Looks more at home in a back four.
