AFC Fylde sign defender Jack Byrne and rearrange next two fixtures
A former Blackpool youth player, the central defender impressed for Fylde’s Lancashire Cup-winning Under-18s last season.
Manager Jim Bentley said: “He’s keen and willing to learn. He’s a local boy, so knows what this football club is all about, and he has a really good physique for his age."
Fylde’s next two fixtures have moved back a day.

Hide AdThe FA Cup fourth qualifying round tie at home to Altrincham now takes place this Sunday at 1pm. The move enables all Altrincham staff affected by Covid-19 restrictions to complete their 14-day isolation period before the game.
As a result, next week’s league game against Kettering Town, also at Mill Farm, has been pushed back 24 hours to Wednesday (7.45).
