Work finishes on £80k town street revamp
The latest £80,000 scheme has just been completed, including new seating and tree-planting on the road up to Wood Street.

Hide AdPaul Drinnan, Fylde Council’s regeneration manager, said the scheme was one of several which have helped to improve the town centre.
He added: “The council is convinced that these improvements make the town more attractive to visitors and attract investment and promote business confidence.
“This sort of work, in addition to social and tourism-related events, is important in making the borough’s town centres more appealing. This latest work has required great skill by the workers and craftsmen in producing a high-quality scheme.
“Residents, visitors and traders will benefit for decades to come.”
The council said it would now aim to improve St Andrews Road South and The Crescent in St Annes.
