The crime was uncovered following an investigation by Blackpool Police’s Awaken Team and the Public Protection Unit.
Scott was arrested in February 2015 and analysis of a mobile phone showed a video of a girl believed to be aged between four and five years being abused.
Det Con Mark Hartley, from the Awaken team, said: “Scott is clearly a dangerous and manipulative individual and the sentence given today reflects the gravity of this horrendous crime.
