Open day event raises £4,500 for the RNLI
The summer fair, which saw around £4,500 raised for the lifesaving charity, included numerous attractions such as bouncy castles, face painting, a treasure hunt for children and craft stalls.
Digby Moulden, RNLI crew member and chairman of fund-raising, said: “We had a fantastic turnout, the weather was very good for us.

Tours of the station’s all-weather lifeboat were also offered as part of the fair.
The funds raised by the fair will be put towards the general upkeep of the station, but could also be used to buy new equipment such as life jackets for crew members.
