Hide AdTo coincide with Heartbeat moving to larger facilities at Preston North End’s Deepdale Stadium, employees presented the charity with an early Christmas present, through a donation of £3,400.
Nick Jones, Springfields’ community relations manager, said: “The donation will be used by Heartbeat to purchase equipment for their gymnasium facilities at their new location. Top of their shopping list is a new running treadmill, to help in the physical rehabilitation of people who have suffered heart attacks.
“We’re extremely pleased to be able to help.”
Heartbeat’s Lisa Riding visited Springfields to receive the donation from employees, above.
She said: “I’d like to thank all the employees. This donation will help us to expand our fitness centre at our new facilities.”
