Les tribute display key to happiness
The opportunity to ‘play’ a keyless piano while visiting the Peace and Happiness Garden on St Annes Promenade proved a big hit.
The St Annes In Bloom team of volunteers devoted hours to revamping the area adjacent to the statue of Les which has been on the site since 2008.

Hide AdRefurbishment of the site was funded by an £8,000 grant from the Tesco Bags for Help scheme and included various interactive features as well as new plants.
St Annes In Bloom chairman Fiona Boismaison said: “It was originally meant to be on display for four weeks but its popularity meant we kept it going for twice that time.
“We have been delighted with the positive response from residents and visitors alike.”
