And lots of families have been keen to get outside, whatever the weather over the last week.

“Children have been enjoying getting up close with nature and taking home some beautiful collages.
“Families just need to come into the centre anytime between 10am and 3pm, pick up a collage card and go and explore.
“The idea is to go around the lake to look for as many different shapes and colours of leaves to take a tiny piece and stick onto their collage.

It costs £1 per collage and there is no time restriction to complete it so families can enjoy the experience at their own pace.
The Lovely Leaves trail is running on regular dates until Friday, May 26.
