Get your dog micropchipped before the law changes
Wyre Council is holding a free pet microchipping service ahead of a new law which says all dogs must be chipped by April 6.
The event will take place at Cleveleys Community Centre on Kensington Road, off Beech Road, from 3 until 8pm on Tuesday. No appointment is necessary – petowners are simply asked to bring their dogs along. All dogs will soon by legally required to have a microchip containing their owner’s details – and those who ignore the law could face a fine.
