Fleetwood Town owner Andy Pilley's big gift to help swell charity coffers
Andy Pilley, who owns Fleetwood Town FC, has donated the terminals to Trinity Hospice and Brian House Children’s Hospice via Blackpool-based Card Saver.
He was encouraged to donate the card payment terminals free of charge to Trinity and Brian House after being contacted by fund-raiser Andy Charles who has raised more than £70k for Brian House through a series of sporting challenges.

“Hopefully by providing these merchant service terminals free of charge Trinity and Brian House will see donations rise at their many events.”
The terminals were used during the recent Lytham Festival.
Trinity Hospice and Brian House Head of Fundraising Linzi Warburton said: “We are incredibly grateful to everyone at Card Saver for these new card machines. These days, making card payments is so easy that people often don’t carry cash on them.”
