Blackpool man enters not guilty pleas to historic crimes against boy and girl
Robert Ewing, 63, formerly of Kincraig Place, Bispham, is accused of abusing a boy and a girl in the 1990s in the Herefordshire area.
He appeared at Preston Crown Court by video link from HMP Long Lartin and entered not guilty pleas to 11 allegations relating to a boy aged as young as six at the time and a charge of cruelty and a girl aged as young as nine.

Hide AdThe Honorary Recorder of Preston, Judge Mark Brown, was told he denied six counts of indecent assault against the girl and a charge of cruelty relating to allegations he forced her to ‘watch’ acts of cruelty. He also denies three charges of indecent assault against the boy and a charge of cruelty.
Prosecuting, Kyra Badman said: “In essence this case concerns allegations of physical neglect and sexual abuse.”
Ewing will next appear on October 29 for trial.
