Brigade in cooking care plea
Firefighters have reminded householders to take care when cooking after two pumps from Blackpool Fire Station attended a cooker fire on Keswick Avenue in the resort on Sunday.
Two breathing apparatus and hose reel were used, with extensive damage to the cooker and some minor damage to adjacent worktops.
A spokesman for the station said: “Please take care when cooking.”
