Amateur artists' display of work
Members of the South Shore Community Association are holding an art exhibition on Saturday and Sunday between 10am and 4pm at the community centre in the old library building on Highfield Road.
Work on display has been created by people who attend tutored art classes each Friday afternoon at the community centre.

Hide AdThe South Shore Community Centre was launched a few years ago to provide opportunities for the residents of Waterloo, Squires Gate, Highfield and Stanley wards in Blackpool.
It enables them to meet socially and to learn new skills and develop existing ones.
The building was converted to a community centre when the former library closed down.
Members of the art group span the decades with some aged 80 and over.
Admission to the exhibition is free and refreshments will also be available.
