Training taster sessions
The Renaissance Training School was set up by the charity Drugline after funding for its training arm came to an end this year.
It offers companies and organisations nationwide on drug,alcohol awareness, sexual health, domestic abuse and gender awareness issues.

Hide AdThe Dickson Road based team of six will be offering advice and information from 12.30 to 2.30pm next Tuesday.

He said: “The premise is to invite organisations and businesses, that along with their obligations towards standard staff health and safety training,
“All the Renaissance trainers will be taking it in turns to do five to ten minute taster overviews of each course.

Hide Ad“The areas we cover can and do have equal impacts to health and wellbeing of staff.
“I’ll be talking about drugs and alcohol, Nicki Da Costa will be doing sexual health and blood borne viruses, Leah Emerson and Anthony West will be doing trans awareness, Alison Sayer will be doing drug-related litter.”
Lunchtime refreshments will be provided and anyone interested should contact [email protected]
He said: “Because of the acute nature of the issues we have here in Blackpool, our staff are highly experienced and well qualified to help in other parts of the country.”
