Blackpool food wholesaler to help public during coronavirus crisis

Blackpool based distrubutor Trevors Foodservice, has launched a new ‘click and collect’ service for the public featuring a range of tinned goods, frozen and chilled products.
Trevors Foodservice said it was also reaching out to care homes, schools, nurseries and any other “key worker” sectors, which are struggling to secure vital food supplies from supermarkets amid the ongoing coronavirus crisis.

Hide AdIt said it would therefore be by opening to businesses throughout the North West, to ensure they are able to get hold of the food and other items they need.
The Chorley Road firm will offer a delivery service with payment being made at the time of ordering or cash on delivery.
Trevors Foodservice was founded in 1962 by company chairman, Ken Hitchen and became a Limited Company in 1963.
It has approximately 55 staff members, with the majority employed from the local area.

Hide AdThe firm is an STS accredited, trusted supplier to education authorities, care homes and the NHS, and is also working closely with Blackpool Council to supply products to make up care packages to distribute to those most vulnerable.
Trevors Foodservice is a member of the Country Range Group – a nationwide network of foodservice wholesalers covering the whole of the UK and Ireland.
